Help - (also posted in 'Help' section).

I am trying to get hold of an old copy of a Le Mans poster from 1999
Either hard copy or Hi-Res image.

It was not one of those 'common' posters on general release - more a build up / pr / local promotion poster.

Basically it shows the Toyota GT-One left side of the Mercedes CLK from 1998 race - track location is beginning of pit straight (I think!)
It has the old tag line (and still one of the best) "La legende s'ecrit sous vos yeax" and I think it was a sepia photo.

Any help greatly appreciated - willing to offer cash or beer tokens

Thanks
Dean

Thanks Bonio, but

That is definitely the correct image.
But there must have been a race version of the same poster.

I will have to check - I do only have a very old photo of the correct poster.

How did you find this one so quickly??

The power of Google I would imagine, however cant find any others but the one with the cars under dust sheets.

If you do, do you think it would be possible to get a scan or photocopy?

I would cover all expenses Smokes of course.

Image needed for a Le Mans style bar / chill out area in the conservatory - can't believe she agreed to that!
In honour of the old Tertre Rouge.

Thanks Dean

I've got that poster - 1998, think it is the arse of a Nissan if I remember correct

Another great image tho! The last few from the ACO have been pretty poor by comparison

I have got a 1999 poster, it's of a number of covered cars outside their garages. I'd say it's the official one,  at the bottom of this page. http://www.experiencelemans.com/contents/en-us/d4.html

Mine is a bit broken and dog eared, interested? Where are you?

I'm only home till tomorrow afternoon...

Yes Lorry - I can't find it anywhere, but as you can see from my photo, something like it DOES exist....I'm wondering if it was just a wall poster that was not generally published now...?
Might have to settle for a pre-qual one - would you be willing to sell a copy?
