Greeting from Texas!

We missed this year's race (very sad) but I'm already planning our 2012 adventure.  For some dumb reason, I didn't use the CA guidebook during our first trip - I'll fix that this time!  I've already read 111 of the 154 pages of the 2011 guidebook.  Good stuff!

Anyhoodle, 11 months and counting...

Ditto - Welcome to CA - the mad house  Wink

Like Barry says - 50 weeks to go, to get in the mood you could download the old Le Mans guides as there is some great information and some odd but true stories in as well.

See you in 50 wks time.

Oh if you want to make real CA friends, bring some local texas fire water, it will help at Le Mans alot  Grin

Cheers

Tell me more about the fire water - are we talking that stuff with the dead worm in the bottle or the unique 94-proof liquor called Rumble, distilled at Balcones from Texas wildflower honey, Mission figs and raw sugar.

Pleased you enjoyed the guide.  Did you spot my pictures?

And welcome aboard

Yup.  Very nice.

I can certainly take some orders for toxic Texas booze.  My personal favorite is Tito's Vodka - a very nice vodka that is cheaper than Smirnoff but completely kicks ass.  It's made in the Texas hillcountry but a crazy Austin-ite (capital of Texas, home of the University of Texas, and the only Texas city that could be classified as 'liberal'.)

I meant to call Just Tickets today, but I didn't think about calling until 1240p US central standard time.  Oops.  If I happen to be up at 3a this morning, I'll put in a call then.  Must... book... Le Mans... NOW!!!
