77 hours door to door. It should have been a somewhat shorter journey but the ash cloud meant I was delayed in Sydney and Auckland, which added an extra 15 hours to the overall journey time. I was, as Andy Z correctly predicted elsewhere, hanging by the end of it. It was great to just be at LM again, and to catch up with so many friends. I'm just sorry I didn't get to see everyone. Still, it gives me a good reason to do it all again when I next can. I had such an amazing time this year and thanks go to all who helped make it happen for me. You know who you are and I'm truly grateful. Dx

T'was like you'd never been away. A greeting of "Hello you C***" set the tone of the weekend nicely....I was particularly quiet in order to annoy you EVEN MORE than if I was being noisy, with noisy interludes purely down to lack of self control. Glad to see you finally made it home. Now WHERE'S MY BOTTLE OF WINE? Love youuuuuuu xxxx

Oh Brad, you should have tried some, it was delicious. Cherry fruit is infused and partnered with breezy raspberry notes and redcurrants, and the acidity is bright and mouthwatering. There's a savoury, mineral facet running throughout, and a timbre of dog's bile overlaid by pine notes of kookaburra spittle. Finally there's the aftertaste of an old garden gate blowing in the wind.

Yes I remember being treated to some excellent Merlot about Thursday, very good it was too, initially nice and fruity, followed by a pleasant marshmallow after taste (could have been timbre of dog's bile overlaid by pine notes of kookaburra spittle, I don't know, never had that) with a clean dry pallet, very nice, you would buy it again second time around. Just disappointed I missed out on the Shiraz.
