I'm sorry but the Flambadou won't be open for the 1000 kms and especially for our Saturday evening diner...

... so I gonna try to find a new place right now.

Good news for Powermite and Kpy,

I found a new place, called "le bar à vin" in the city centre...

... it's a nice tiny place, more convivial than the Flambadou (yes it's possible), a little cheaper, and the most important, a large selection of wines and alcools, because out to be a restaurant, it's also a wine seller.

Prepare your tongue and your glass !!!

We'll meet at 19.45 at the Place de la Republique...

Is that rue du Cornet no 3 ?

When do you need to confirm numbers Gilles??  I am still hoping to be there but it depends on whether I have my family with me as to whether I can make the meal on Saturday night.

Whey hey - all booked and ready to roll!

Travelling on me own - Thursday overnight Portsmouth (recliner) - Le Havre, return same route Sunday night (cabin). Will they put some other scruffy oik in my cabin, or is it sole occupancy?

Room booked at the Mercure €55 per night (internet rate!) + €8 breakfast if required. Sorry to crash in on you again PM!

So Gilles, please book me to join you for Saturday evening.

I might even wander into the ACO to see if they have allocated Club Arnage the whole of Maison Blanche yet...
