Got to say well done to Oreca. Especially after their valiant but doomed attempt to restore some Gallic pride at LM last year. Bet Hughes de Chaunac has a big smile on his face today.

So the old 908 is better than the new 908, which is still better than the R15++
Bring on the Batmobile & the AMR One...

Excellent - always good to see a team that has supported the series and LM for so long (and often been "best of the rest" behind the factory teams) come in with a "best of the lot". Well done to them.
Look forward to hearing the extramural tales from those CAers who were there....

And well done to Highcroft showing there is a chance for petrol engines. Although I'm sure the diesels will turn the wick up when they get to Le Mans.

To be honest, I thought the race was going to lose excitement once the second Audi was hampered by its crash. I was pleasantly surprised by both the poise of the Oreca team and the pace of the new Highcroft car. Great job to both of them for outracing Peugeot.
What a shame the fuel leak was for OAK. I'm not sure they could have held TK off for 4th, but they were having a nice run.

Agreed, very pleasant surprise to see the ORECA guys scoop the win. Olivier Panis needs to adopt me as his good luck charm now. We went over the paddock on Friday night and bumped into Olivier at the ORECA team camp, and as the rest of the guys will attest to, I was absolutely blithering pissed. Gave Olivier this big hug, saying Merci! Merci! Thank you for coming to Sebring! He accepted his mugging with a big laugh and a hug for Kirsten as well. I'm probably fortunate the police didn't break out the tasers and zap me...Not that I would have felt it in the shape I was in Fax

I think it bodes well for the big one in june. One thing of note though,, the ACO need to look at the engine regs for LMP2 again as they were painfully slow. Even the faster GT Pro cars were passing them at will. Larger restrictors maybe?
