Is it to early to start loading the truck? Hmmmn. The countdown timer on my desktop says it's 98 days....perhaps I configured it wrongly. Definitely too early to start packing, but not too early to start checking: Where's the passport? Did I air the tent after last year, or put it away damp? Will the E111 card still be valid in June? Should I make a list, so I don't forget anything? Via Michelin maps for the latest speed camera locations Is it time to dig out the old videos/DVDs and re-run them (just to get in the right mood, you understand...) Not long now!

I would say that earlier it was 99 days. But right now it's 98 whole days a bit over 8 hours left today and 13 hours on the Saturday of the race.

IDue to a change in my travel plans, I'll now be leaving on Friday June 3, spending the Saturday night at the Hotel Anjou opposite the station and arriving at the track in time for campsites opening on the Sunday. So my event starts as soon as I leave for the ferry at 6pm on June 3.

92 days untill I leave. Duke in bits, awaiting parts from Italy Taking the Kawa triple out of mothballs this morning as possible back up, but that needs some work on it. This could become the replacement saga to the commer. Life is always interesting and challenging.

That's plan B screwed, voltage regulator and associated wiring just gone up in a cloud of smoke. Front brakes partially seized Bike stuck in my Mums garage, don't fancy pushing it back to mine with a sticky brake, it's about 2 miles. Anybody in my part of the woods, east Berkshire, got a bike trailer I can borrow? I am not having a good month so far.

If it still runs just whip out the front pads and ride it home. Brakes are for girls
