Anyone know if the Sebring 12 hours is being shown in the UK this year Live or otherwise?
I've searched Motors & ESPN TV guides but found nothing  Huh

Copied from the Motors TV Forum. Sad

As of now there is no plan to show ALMS because of conflicting rights.

Le Mans Series opening in Le Castellet will be shown LIVE and in FULL.

It seems the stream from ALMS will be available also outside US. But really sad that Motors TV has problems with the rights. Especially ALMS itself writes on the website that Motors TV is showing ALMS in Europe.

Good news on the LMS,  lets hope that is for the full season too, Eurosport were rubbish, only showing bits now and again.

Bad news on the ALMS, I was looking forward to a late night watching Sebring with a few bottles of wine with some friends.  I guess there's always RLM to fall back on, unless some deal is done with one of the other channels, I think ALMS has lost the plot a bit on TV coverage, especially for Europe.  I know it's a specialist sport but the European teams and sponsors aren't going to be too happy I wouldn't have thought.

Not as good admittedly, but in the past I've found web sites which stream coverage from US TV - probably illegal though.

I was also looking forward to watching on TV. However, last year i missed the first few hours as I was stuck at work but managed to watch live streaming via the Justin TV app on my iPhone. It might be worth keeping this thread going during the race so that those at home can keep an eye on such live streams during the race. As said above, they often get shut down leading to frantic searches to continue ones viewing.

Do Speed TV still do live t'interweb streaming?

Sounds like a few hours on Eurosport 2 is all that's going to be available on the TV this year. Bloody typical when I've actually been there for 5 of the last 6 years!  Angry Cry

If it makes you feel any better, it's not even being shown on TV over here.

ESPN3 (streaming internet) will be showing it, but only certain ISP's (and presumably IP ranges) can access it.  I'm sure somsone will be bouncing it around somewhere, though.

According to the ALMS website they will have it for everyone!

"You don't get ESPN3? Have no fear. The same incredible live qualifying and race coverage will be available on this website. No matter where you're located in the world, you'll be able to watch!"

Agree that the ALMS may have lost the plot when it comes to TV coverage.  As far as I understand, the ALMS has done a deal with ESPN, ABC and Versus, that includes mostly tape delyed highlight packages of the races, there were a couple of these last year and they were utter crap!  Speed TV always did a great job with live coverage.
Their signature event, the Petit, will be shown a the weekend after the race, as a highlight clip.  WTF?

Still being jobless, so against my better judgement, I'm going to be there, dwelling in Camp Pidge. Probably arrive Thursday, and I'm going to stay for the race this year!!!

Woohoo, that's good news Geoff, well apart from the jobless bit. But I like your outlook on the situation. It will be great to see you there as part of camp pidge again and staying for the race as well. See you next week. Smiley
