4 running Nissan engines I see. Do I assume these are rebranded AIMs?
Personally, the best news there for me is the fact that the Lizards have two entries so Seth can drive his car but not prevent the team from winning as it leaves the professionals free to drive the Pro car.
I agree that the GT class is somewhat watered down by the absense of the old GT1s (the old girl in particular) but there you go, things move on. At least there's a Ford GT - or maybe even two.

Time to decide who you are going to support in each class!
Has to be the Astons in GTE AM & Pro, and the two LMP1 cars for me of course, probably RML in LMP2, but I do like the Lola Coupe.
And also time to guess who's going to drop out first.... What happens if it's the hybrid!

Good solid list, no big surprises.
First to drop out, Race performace Oreca or both the loti, (are the Mansell boys driving one?)
No Drayson entry, have they maybe teamed up with another team or has he run out of money since the change of government?
Time to start thinking about the trip now, no tickets yet and no decision made!

Anyone know what happened with Drayson racing ? I was expecting them to get an entry.

DSC are sitting on a story about the team apparently. Cant see that it would have folded so hope that some alliance has been formed with another team. maybe Rebillion?
No WR's either.

Whats the story with the Kronos Aston Martin? Is this the old Signature Plus Aston that the lovely Ms. Ickx drove last year? Is Kronos the same Kronos that runs semi-works Citroens in the WRC?
I would have thought that it would have made the main list rather than the reserves considering it did the full LMS series last year.

No Spyker this year unfortunately, the are concentrating on their new contender for 2012. So DFH is probably going to support the Rebellion team, since Jeroen Bleekemolen is driving their car at le mans!

Nope they are based on the engine Nissan uses/used in SuperGT and are build/maintained/supported at the track by Zytek.

Kronos is the same team that runned the Citroens in the WRC. Apparently they bought the Signature-Aston, Vanina should be one of the driving forces behind the "new team". I think they didn't make it to the main list 'cause Le Mans was the only race on their schedule, a few LMS-races could be added, but up untill now there's no news about that.

Not strictly true, apparently it's the owner who has chosen to place his car with Kronos. I would have thought a team with some sort of LM pedigree would have been a better bet for an entry, as well as planning a few LMS rounds up front of course.
