Lovely pics - it all looks so nice and Christmassy! Just missing a few strings of fairly lights in the fir trees to complete the scene. Your personal efforts and sacrifieces to bring old skool rallying to the masses are much appreciated.

Great Snaps Dr CreamT , brings back so many memories. Assume you were in Dalby Forest as the Road to hell looks like the Forest Road. Last time I saw that much snow in the Yorkshire forest was the National Breakdown Rally back in the mid to late 80's, that was a mega weekend with the old man driving between the stages to spectate. I competed on the 1991 Talkland Rally which was had a dusting of the white stuff between the trees. Will have to dig out the snaps tonight and post.

I remember 2 snowy Yorkshire rallies back in the 80's. One was the National Breakdown in 85 with Michelle Mouton in the Audi and also the 1987 Cartel which had really deep snow. That was the first time Prodrive used the Rothmans Metro 6R4 if i remember correctly. i have the photos up in the loft and probably the programes too. happy days

You must be bonkers Si, looks pretty cold but probably well worth it, and it gets you out the house. Good to see you are in training for LM.
Good pics.

Excellent pics - thanks for posting them, brought back great memories of nipping over the fence in Sutton Park in the 70s, when the RAC was a real man's endurance rally!

It certainly was a fun weekend to say the least and very challenging, not just for the crews but for us spectators as well as the roads simply were the roads from hell at times. Here are a selection of my own shots from the weekend to accompany Si's

4 more from Dalby on Friday night, got out of there at 1 am, was fun trying to work out the best way out avoiding steep hills.
