Now the dust has settled on Le Mans 24 2010, can I pose a couple of questions to the denizens of Club Arnage? This year I put up a 'portal' page that allowed people arriving for the first time on clubarnage.com to get more quickly to the information they are looking for. One of the innovations was to present Jock's Jottings as a 'blog' rather than a thread in the main forum. Was this a good thing? Is the JJ blog a good read?

As a supplementary question, if we had a personal blogging system set up here on CA that was available to all users, would you use it to post your own thoughts and observations? If that also included a webmail system so that you could send and receive emails as 'yourname@clubarnage.com' would you sign up for that too?

Personally I probably wouldnt use the email thing or the personal blogging but I found the quick link page excellent and the link straight to the jox jottings superb for us stuck at home.

I enjoyed the 'new' Jox Jottings blog this year during the race (and after at home) and think it should stay as it is now. Personally if people want to comment they can start a thread in the forum as opening it to comments could lead to what I would call the more serious side of Club Arnage to easily go off topic. (Hope that makes sense)
