Just got back from London, (beer in hand now)
Update, Andy is in; (Andy Coot)
Surgical Intensive Care Unit
King's College HospitalDenmark Hill
London
SE5 9RS
They seem to be looking after him well, no broken bones (had a load of x-rays today). Watching him for internal injuries, as he had problems with blood in one of his lungs after the accident. Hard to get answer from any of ther nurses as they seem to be working full time on that ward with everyone else as well.
Andy, is awake and can talk, not total coherant (seems like Friday night at Le Mans), down to the amount of drugs he's on. He is conected to a big monitor screen that has all his vital signs, plus it has a big red light that beeps and flashes. So the nurse can shout at him to put his oxygen mask on again. Which they do.
They seem quite happy with him at present, and no major plans for any operations, at present.
Not sure when he will get moved, but I know he his in the best place and the staff seem to be on top it all.
Glad I saw him, put peoples mind at rest, all i know is he will get board there as their is nothing for him to do (bed rest as well).
So alll in all, he seems, at present to be doing well, not out of the woods, but holding well, he is going to really brusied internally and that will hurt when he is off the drugs.
Any other news Mandy (his wife will let us know) and when and if they move him closer to home (nr Guildford)
Told him we will all raise a glass or 2 for him in Le Mans.
By the way - anybody want to buy a convertible Citroen Berlingo, nice conversion by local fire brigade.
