Hi,

I might be being as thick as a whale omelette - but need some clarification about getting around the circuit using the shuttles and little trains. After all the years of going to LM, I do not know the answers to below.

We are staying in Pincenardiere this year again - and those little trains are a god-send!

I have attached the ACO map showing the train routes (red dashes) - but can't seem to tie it up with the info in the CA Guide

According to CA Guide -

Train 1 - North Entrance to Maison Blance - OK, can see it on the map
Trains 2, 3 - P13 / Paddock / Village - Where is P13? (Marshall post 13 - So at the end of Karting Nord? Or does this one go to Technoparc Roundabout? (as shown on the map) - Would really like to use this in conjuction with Train 5 to get all the way to the village
Train 4 - Beasejour - From where? To where? Does it really run around the perimeter of BSJ as shown on the map?
Train 5, 6 - Virage Porsche - Technoparc - OK - we used this last year
Train 7 - Technoparc to Antares - OK - we used this last year
Train 8 - Maison Blanche to Virage Porsche - Really? - It is not on the ACO map - DOES THIS DEFINITELY EXIST? As it would be really helpful in getting from our campsite to our grandstand

If any seasoned train user can clarify please?? Huh

Dean

Baldrick, my Lord! But I can change it to Ploppy if it'll make things easier.

Never used these myself - when I saw them in previous years just assumed they were for specific parties and not for general public use. Until I saw that bit in the guide.

Looks like in 10 days time you will be the CA (if not world) expert! Grab some photos and notes to help improve the guide for next year!

Here's the map of the Petit Trains, which is missing from the ACO's website.
From it you should be able to see that (in theory) Train 2 only operates from P13 to Village and back, Train 4 only operates within Beausejour, and Train 8 does indeed operate between Maison Blanche and Porsche curves.
That's the theory.

Edit: Just noticed that ACO have translated Dimanche as Saturday. Pretty obvious that it's Sunday.
