Its just like being in Le Mans here just now. I've lit the bbq,had a few cans of cider and its started raining  Roll Eyes
I know this one, because the minute I stopped eating, it stopped raining.  Still the barbeque works well under a golf umbrella.

we really do need a dry year

It would be nice, and overdue.

Wasnt it dry last year?  I dont remember it raining at all!!!!  (Although that might be cos I was in the shelter of my cow shed!!)    Grin

Squally and showers first half of the week, I'm surprised your cow shed didn't blow away. Wink

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Squally? That's a bit of an understatement.

Weds was awful last year.

I drove 400 miles to LM and reckon that it rained for 399 miles of the journey.

Brief respite on arriving, then rain again, so we retired in to Werner's pavilion & drank beer.

Not all bad  Cool

LOL - a good move in the circumstances!

It must be my naturally sunny disposition that means I dont remember driving down in the rain, tho it seems I must have done!  (either that or short term memory problems....)

Got one, but as I found out last yaer on the way up to Santa Pod...
.....It's great while you're moving... :-)

Still, driving down the N138 in an open top British sports car (Albeit a rubber bumper model) does have it's attractions...

Option C

with option B as fallback

simples

 Grin

Tonneau is fine for all the other times
anyway you will all have a hot dry year with mild balmy breezes

(I do wish I was coming... BUT NO, I have to be strong...)

This is true...
Soft top it is then...

And Perdu, if you find that strength slipping away, there's a spare seat in the Midget Grin Grin Grin

Ah if only 'twere so easy

I decided to miss a year for lots of reasons, not just fiscal ones

All these years and the old dear hasn't murmured about me swanning off, but I had an attack of "Oh blimey it isnt fair-itis" and offered to her that I'd miss this one and go again next year

I already have offers from Toby Anscombe and MGMark to occupy the co-pilot seat if situations change, so thanks but...

Dont fret Andy, Lara will be on hand next year if she is needed

I'll be happy if you guys have a good un Smiley

(honest... Sad   )
