I'm going on Sunday for some GT1 action & was wondering what the new section & the changes to the old track have hindered or helped photographers?

No doubt some of my favorite places are now no longer  Cry hopefully replaced by some new better one's  Smiley

This weekend is the first time the new sections of track have been used so I'll, hopefully, find out on Saturday!

We are going this weekend to the FIA GT WC event. Camping at Whittlebury - should be there in a Lancer and a beat up old corsa (the scooby is not making the trip). Come over and say hi if you spot us.

One pic of the new section

Depending on fencing etc could be some new places for taking photo's

I'm wondering If they will let the public walk between the new section & Becketts, could be interesting if they do.

I've always hated Silverstone but to be honest .. I like the new stuff!

Yes we've lost one of my fave shots as they crest the little brow as they exit the Abbey chicane on the run down to Bridge but for those without press passes there are a couple of really good places to take pics (although I was a little naughty in the absence of many marshals today and took a few liberties with "public access" around the bridge on what was the National Straight!). Will endeavour to get some pics up at some point in the next few days but overall I was pleasantly surprised!
