i've started an new job,im skint,if I go to Le Mans I will have to take her a holiday later in the year which I cant afford,I might become an apprentice again in september so I need to pay off as much debt as I can before then, once again im totaly rooked, the car needs serviced, mot'd and 2 tyres, the van needs mot'd,taxed and 4 tyres,I have 3 full weddings to go to this year oh,and I almost forgot,I HAVE NO MONEY!  Undecided

Is that enough excuses to miss a year after going 4 years in a row???  Shocked

Gutted I cant go but this year I just cant justify spending any money on luxuries like holidays and Le Mans, everything is going on getting debt free before september,as long as tomorows assessment day goes well with network rail.

Anyone else hhaving to miss out this year???

Hope the assessment goes well, and sorry to hear that the plan may not work out this year.  But, ever the optimist as I am, never say never, as something may change or turn up to allow the trip, whether it be a change in circumstance or a kind offer, and things can always be arranged at short notice to get out there.  So, plan on not going hard to accept though it is, but if things change such that you can, accept that too..

Opportunity may only knock once, but temptation is always at your door!

Does this mean no Liverpool Boys at all for 2010?  Sad

I can't go this year because....................

I've got sodding bloody end of semester exams, I'm a poor student, and even a sneaky weekender would take a week from this side of the world.   Cry

Still, I did help blend a competition winning bordeaux last week so it's not all bad.   Undecided

This morning has been a surprisingly eventfull one  Cheesy Still cant include Le Mans in the years plans though  Sad

1st I should explain,I'm with an agency just now working for ATM Traffic solutions in Kent but as its agency the work can be a bit unreliable, thats why I seem to have this week off. Anyway,I decided to apply to ATM myself to see if they fancy taking me on permanently in Airdrie. Good news on that front is the gaffer there is 100% sure they will so that will keep the wolf from the door.

2nd,I got an email this afternoon to congratulate me on passing fridays Network Rail assessment day and I have been recomended for interview at my first choice of base in Irvine.

2010 is looking better all the time  Grin

Apparently there are some very good Bordeaux blends being made in NZ these days.  Well, I made one... God only knows what actual winemakers are doing.   laugh

Angry Sad that you can't make it D...  We were talking about Melans outfits last weekend as everyone has decided they're coming this year, we were hoping you'd make it as one of us again.  Always next year I suppose  Cheesy  Vickyx
