What can a Sebring virgin expect on the track Wed / Thur / Fri? IIRC from last year pretty much constant action with 6 or 7 support races? How much practise / qually time do the 12 hr field get? How long before the race is the schedule likely to be published? Thanks

Hi Fisherman,
Lots of track activity. Note support races are Friday. Wednesday is practice for all the series.
I suggest you move around a lot to see what all the track looks like and find your own favorite spots.
Visit the paddock too to find your favorite teams location. Yes I know it takes a bit of getting used to the access ALMS allows. Thursday night practice. Schedule your time to go into town for spplies or you will miss something you want to see.
 See you there

Pidgeon has asked me to remind his CA friends that we will be camping in the same area as other years. If available. behind the concession stands in the vicinity of the "security compound" Look for the many flags.
Legendary breakfast (pidgeon eggs Grin) and comeradery are on offer. Tent space available for waifs and strays Grin

Hi Fisherman, we'll look forward to having you at Sebring this year.  Don't worry too much about schedules.  Everything is accessible so you can plan what you want to see and do next while your there.  Lot's to see and many people to meet.  If you have questions, just ask anyone, most people will be very helpful and are proud of our little event in the middle of Florida.  Get a program at the gate, that will help you with track layout and will include an up to date schedule for quick reference plus driver line up.

Feel free to ask any other questions you might have and enjoy being a virgin.

The post I never wanted to write...

I can't make it this year.   Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

Uni has put paid to any racing fun I may have been able to have this year.

I know you'll all have a great time but could someone please ensure vast amounts of cider and vodka are consumed on my behalf?  I'd hate for the ABC to be overstocked.   Grin

Oh, and could someone please pick up a poster for me?  Will work out the logistics of getting it to NZ after the race?
