Whatever the turmoil in the world (and on the forum it seems about pictures being removed at the moment), do please spare a thought for another anniversary today - that of the 70th anniversary of the initial invasion of Poland, with the subsequent division of the country 16 days later, which led us all into WW2....and, arguably, then the Cold War.
Whilst it serves only to commemorate the airmen involved, the memorial in UK at Northolt does, at least, do that, for the Polish airmen who fought with us.
