Correct me if I'm wrong but do i not remember seeing a couple of ATMs in the village. I also remember there being very large queues there as well.

There are, but often been emptied of dosh, dont rely on them. Undecided

Re the ATM, there is def one at least in the village.

Re chip n pin - although i have these cards every time i have used them on this trip i have been asked to sign, not enter the pin.  

just thought i would put that in the pot - too blimming scorchio here to sit outside all day so checking up on the plans n social diary!

Last week I was often asked for both in the supermarkets, which often look closed for business.
