True.  time of day irrelevant.  It happened.............Cool Cool

It's even more irrelevant that policemen and authorities try to fight against Mad friday.

Keeping it unformal in its organisation is the best way to save it !!!  Wink

Was it an organised idea to close the Indianapolis corners from Mulsanne this year to "stop" people having fun.

Yes it was and it was to eradicate the mad friday...
... which appears as a strickly Anglo-Saxon event and really too stupid for French drivers (BTW did you already tried the mad friday with a renault 5 or a Citroen 2CV  Grin )

With the new improvements around the circuit, did i hear they may be moving the road nearer the airfield to give the circuit more space, hey presto the old road can now become private and it's burnout city.

I  usually turn up at around lunch time , by then a crowd has gathered , the dudes and dudettes come out to play ( except those in Lotus Elise's ) and smoke billows from tyres .

This year it kept trying to happen as soon as the police went , and a few were trying it near the Porsche curves , until Plod stopped that .

On Sunday nights on the old airfield there is racing , which a few years ago got a little dangerous, but usually there is some one with a bike or caterham 7 that eats everyone else .
