I hope you are all on the CA mailing list, as you will have received the mail about the 1000km race on 9 November. Here's the link to the official website. http://www.lemans.org/2003/calendrier/ressources/pdf/endurance_series_com1_gb.pdf

Provisional calendar says scrutineering on Friday, free practice and qualifying on Saturday then the race at midday Sunday. It's billed as a qualifying race for 2004 and takes places on teh Bugatti circuit.

No. The May weekend is no longer pre-qualifying anyway. But the November race isa means of prequalifying for an invitation to race in June. The detailed regs are not yet out, but the new European LM series will eventually become part of the prequalifying process. Clear as mud, I know - we'll have to wait until the full regs are published.

the ELMS will give as many invitations for the 24h as the ALMS
