How the 'ell is this related to Le Mans....

Well for those coming home on a sailing to Portsmouth AFTER the event,
the entire international fleet will be in the solent and bordering the shipping lane into Portsmouth HArbour.

If youre into that it will feature 35 differnet nations ships, the USS Nimitz and some chinesse thing, plus Ark Royal and some french bits and bobs.

This weekend isnt one to joke about Terrorists or be silly. Lots of people from the Met with Guns about, and they dont shoot too straight !!

Reminds me of last year, when I thought our journey down might be interrupted due to security surrounding the many heads of state in Normandy to pay respects to D Day.

Didn't see a thing, journey went sweeet.

Hope the boat I'm on doesn't hit one of the Los Angeles class or trident subs that will no doubt be lurking around babysitting the Nimitz and Ark Royal  Undecided  Wink

If you stand right in front of the barrel of the MP5 or the Glock 17 pointed at you, you will be fine just don't stand behind them!!!!! Grin
