I was wondering can anyone remember if any of the showers are heated before Wednesday or not? I know they are not on the Monday after so I'm guessing they are not before the campsite officially opens either?

I shall therefore be looking forwards to joining you gentlemen in the cold showers every morning at ablution time then, shall I? Say 05.30 hours

Then a brisk run around the circuit in singlet and baggy shorts?

Or shall I awaken to the siren call of the Astons at around 07.30 for an early fried breakfast with a fried slice too...?

Yup, it's plan B for me, pop round if you are free at that time

Certainement, if accompanied with a little latitude in the taxation department!

When in France...

If you need G&T for breakfast we will try to assist... Wink

Whilst with HM Forces in the early days , the wake up call used to be a bastard with two metal dustbin lids banging them together. If you were still there when he returned five mins later you and the bed got upended, THEN it was shower time!!

Instead of dustbin lids there is some b*gg*r in a van and a loud hailer trying to flog you a newspaper at some godforsaken hour of the morning!

We had the last laugh 'cos one day we put his car on top of four upended dustbins. I don't know why but he didn't seem to find it that funny!!!!
