Seems about time to get things moving on the travel plans of different groups.

As the pie eaters have joined in with JPC's group this year there are a few different crossing which I'll leave JPC to list but I will be doing the following.

Rudmore Cellers: Tuesday night
Pompey - Caen: Tuesday night
Maison Blanche : Wednesday morning
Caen - Pompey : Sunday night.

Thanks abs - made it a sticky...smokie

Bloody hell Abs, are you getting excited already  Shocked

Myself and the East Anglian cobras (plus a Cadillac and a '32 hot rod) are travelling thus:

Wednesday -
whilst it's still dark - meet up and convoy A12 / M25 / M20
07:45 - Speedferries Dover - Boulogne
advance party (the Buxton Bungee) arrives Houx Annexe mid afternoon (because he likes to thrash it)
remainder arrive a wee bit later Wednesday afternoon as we've had a drive in the country and avoided getting fined.

Monday -
leisurely drive back to Boulogne for the 17:30 Speedferries Boulogne - Dover

The three of us (Crew) will be arriving Sunday eavening 12th of June, only to queue up (I hope) in front of the gate for opening Mondaymorning. I understood maybe I have to try and defend some space for jpchenet aswell, but that strategy is still undecided.

Rest of our team should get there in small groups, some Monday, a lot on Wednesday and the remains on Friday. They all come in their own vehicle, no problems with ferries as we're all continental. All together a group of 27 at the moment. Might be a few more, might be a few less. For some of them it's still far away, while I'm running out of time.

We'll all be leaving Monday morning the 20th of June.

Leaving for LM-MB early Fridaymorning this Easter weekend for scouting and latest pics. Expect picture results by Sunday in my topic here at GD.
Any requests in that topic or via PM. I'll have a print of that topic and see what I can do.

According to Robbo's site only 86 days to go. Bloody hell, better get started after Easter!! Smiley

The famous 'K' will be sailing Portsmouth to Cherbourg on Wednesday evening, arriving at BSJ sometime Thursday lunchtime. We'll be leaving bleary eyed Monday morning, in tears to come home.

We are sending an advance party on Wednesday with some tape and fence posts to sort our plot out.  Cheesy

Nobby's merry band of waifs, strays, hoodlums and guttersnipes will be on the Thursday 07.45 Speedferries.

Lunch just outside Gace, at the bar/cafe/petrol pump place on th N138.

Arriving in time for late afternoon tiffin.

Leaving Le Mans on Sunday afternoon, up to Rouen for our traditional Irish Pub night out and then on to the Monday 17.30 Speedferries crossing. Looks like this is the one to be on for the trip home!!!

Zarse's will be on the 15.00 Pompey-Caen on Wed pm. Then it's a no holds barred thrash in the Commer, the Porky 996 and the BM down to Maison Blanche ready to set up camp at about 1.00 am...  Sad Oo-er, think we've screwed the timings up a bit this time!

Leave straight after the race and head up to Deauville for a spot of late night "activities", then we'll be all ready to catch the 8.00am Monday ferry.
