Being as so many of us are actually going to get to MB this year, perhaps the first there could try and mark out an area for us to all head for i.e. a central area for a bit of footy and a perifery area for us to pitch around. How practical this will be to maintian beyond Thursday is questioanalble but early arrivals could be quite wide. Worth a try?

Let's see who's on MB and getting there early...in fact if you are on Maison Blanche post here...

I get there Sunday evening (camp commandants permitting)

But I'm afraid I don't do Central or footy. I'll be near the bogs, as usual  Smiley

Yes as Rob said we are arriving on Sunday just after lunch Grin Grin.

We are planning on being within reach of the electrics so that may determine where we pitch. If all the electric is non accessible or we just want a footy pitch then we can try to mark off a HUGE pitch. Maybe when the others arrive they can help secure this large area.

The Liverpool Boys did this for us last year and succeeded until wednesday evening when space was starting to get limited.

Get this thread going nearer the time (I know it is all over in less than 5 months!!) and I will try to arrange something.

Drinking for Holland will be there from sundaynight-onwards. Loads of work to do, like building scaffolding etc.
Don't know the exact ETA, as it depends on what kind of truck we can lend from my neigbor. If it's +7,5 tonnes we'll only be allowed to enter France after 10PM Sunday Sad

The usual suspects from Beermountain will be on site - not sure of arrival time yet.

My view is that we all seem to like being in particular spots, so a central area for CA may not work to best effect.

What I think a really good idea is that we fly a flag or something like that so we can encourage fellow CAers to pop in for a beer etc - ie we know who is where.

PS For those in the "Golden Triangle" - should we build some speed bumps/road blocks to keep the kids on quad bikes occupied this year?

The SPS Crew are arriving Thursday morning and will happliy pitch up within 100 metres of a hose pipe.

Other than that, not too fussy. We will need a large space, with 5 tents, 6 cars etc etc, and added onto that all the other large CA groups, we would upset lots of other MB regulars..

I am sure we shall all meet for a beer or two during the weekend.

The FECKers (might just have a new name come race week!) will be arriving a tad tardy this year; right slap bang in the middle of Thurs qually  Shocked

Lot to do with my new job (a proper one at last!) and restricted time off.

We will be attempting our usual "install" next to the Fathers and if we get our shite together, the "Fist Inn" will finally make it to MB complete with pub sign. No serving wenches I'm afraid - u will have to supply your own (imagination!).

Hi Rick, good to hear the Fathers will be making it again, but tell them it won't be the same without Andy  Grin Grin
