I know it's a bit early, but does anyone have an idea as to when the ACO will start selling camping tickets?

See http://www.clubarnage.com/yabbse/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=274 for details, you can ring, mail or fax them. Get your kit in gear for the best seats in the house, I bet you Maison Blanche will already be fully booked. After booking you will recieve a confirmation of reservation, no more. Then sit back and be patient, booking now will probably mean you will recieve your invoice somwhere December / January. Good luck with it! ps. no, it ain't too early. I've seen people making bookings during the 2004 race for 2005!

I'd do this ASAP as I booked this time last year & ended up in Beausejour, atmosphere was good but a long, long walk!! Also if you email them (they seem more receptive if you do it in French ) you should get a response within 24 hours. In fact book for 2006 whilst you're at it!!

Interesting point brought up here. Normally, the ACO accept bookings for the following year at PQ. If PQ is only 2 weeks before the race in 2005, I wonder when they will start to accept bookings for 2006. DB

What's a booking? They repeat my last year's request each year without me even asking. I'm sure one year they won't, and I'll be much less smug then....

I rang the ACO to find out how you go about getting a "direct debit" for camping tickets. I've 9 more years to go then

I got a letter from the ACO telling me that until the dates and prices are settled for '05, the reservation can't be confirmed. Will I still get an invoice in a few months?

Yes, that's the standard ACO acknowledgement letter. You should get an invoice in due course.

I contacted ACO quite recently to find out where my Club 24 Collector pack was and to ask how i could get to camp in Maison Blanche, this was the reply:
The Membership office transferred us your mail. Sorry; but Maison Blanche is sold out. The booking is open since the end of April 2004 (date of the Preliminary) and we got lots of booking during the week of the race.
Kind Regards,
