We're off next Thursday, it looks like a good day to get away; Elections, tube strike, fuel protests....

I'm looking forward to coming home already!!!!

NO NO NO smokie,

Fill as many jerry cans with fuel as you can as you do not want to arrive in France with a near full tank, besides you can always use the fuel in the cans months after you get back.

I filled up in France in June 03, Put £10 in on the M25 on the way to Pre Quals. Filled up before I go back, Will just make it to Portsmouth next week, Will have enough fuel until going to amsterdam via france to collect Tink, then will still have enough fuel to get to France for the classic. Then I sell the van.

Gordon Brown/ Tony Blair SUCK on that.

I thought Tink was coming down by train. It's a bit of a detour to Amsterdam isn't it??

That's odd, I was thinking about the same detour, but the caravan would hamper me too much...

Den Haag is closer (by about 30 miles) and has a smaller but less touristy range of local and foreign delicacies...so I am told Tongue Tongue

oh, and when the company gives you a fuel card which won't buy fuel abroad ...you brim it at Dover!
