I cannot for the life of me see why not, but she MUST get her application properly signed and witnessed as when people's apperance has changed significantly since the previous issue, they don't take these on trust.

I did an "on the day" renewal last year and it was quite easy but you have to a) make an appointment in advance and b) be sure to remember to write down the reference number they give you over the phone.  I forgot to do this and had to phone France from a public call box to get my o/h to look it up for me. Roll Eyes Telling them my name and address etc was not sufficient.

Bloodworm, you'd do much better to call the Passport Office to get an answer to this. It'd be quicker, and reliable (despite the depth of knowledge often displayed here)

You can get them on 0871 875 6863

May I politely inquire what led you to ask your question on this forum, a forum centred around attending a motor race in France on 13th June (this year), when you will be in Rhodes with your mother at that time?

A very good point Robspot.

I have to admit that since you point that out I'm inclined to removed the thread and his other posting.
However,  I'll leave it to Smokie or Steve.   angel angel

No need to remove it, I just thought it an odd thing to do. Joining a forum you appear to have no interest in just to ask a question you could have got a better answer to from the proper authorities.

Maybe I'm just being picky seeing as I'm not going this year. No, that's not the case. I'm always like this  Grin
