We have always travelled out over night on Tuesday for Wed qualifying, but thinking of travelling out on Monday this year.  Is scrutineering worth a visit and which cars are scrutineered on which day, or shall we just put the day aside for drinking?

Cheers

I went to scrutineering for the first time last year - on the tuesday.

Excellent day out - you can get close-up to the cars, drivers and team principals.  There was also a fair gaggle of exotic road cars on display as well.

Easy trip into town on the tram with a 5 min walk at the far end. Also, that day was the hottest day of the week last year.  Cheesy  If you are an ACO member, there is a small enclosure with a bar which gives you a good viewpoint.

Well worth a visit in my opinion - will be going again this year.  The complete schedule of the times is published by the ACO, and will be in the CA guide - well, it was last year  Tongue
