Aussie priorities

From todays Metro.

Do you beer-leive it?

A Driver was fined £300 for buckling a case of beer in his car - but not a 5 year old child. Police pulled over the vehicle and found a 30 can carton of beer strapped in the back between two adults while the child sat on the floor. An officer in Alice Springs, Northern Australia, said: "I was shocked."

Well you wouldn't want a dented beer would you? ;D

The Cop' got his priorities right from the start, BUT, he may be wrong depending on the brand of beer.  If it was Castlemaine he was wrong and should be sacked.
At my age, it takes me all night to do what I used to do all night!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, growing old is compulsary, but growing up is just optional.

I don't do GREEN, I've got a 4x4

As most Oz beer is total shite (VB, EB etc, etc) then... fair play.
Had it been the Tasmanian Cider with the Burgundy Label..... thats a different story... or a slab of Bundy and Coke in cans (The strong ones obviously!)

I've been to Bundaberg (twice) - it was closed  ::)
(found a very good Chinese buffet restaurant and a drive through bottle shop though!)

The rum is mighty fine, however.
