Was just going over the pre june what needs to be done list and it occoured to me that the humber doesn't feature (probably tempting fate by saying this) but the old girl seems to be in good health.

I will do an oil and plug change but thats it, and i guess i might rub her with a chamois (during which process i shall not be dressed as a nazi) but that is it.

How are all the other old motors looking for the circa 1000 miles du mans weekend?

The cobra is currently (slowly) underdoing a complete gearbox conversion / transplant (auto box to 4 speed manual - extra pedal / clutch / clutch mechanism etc).  Whilst awaiting the return of the modified propshaft, I'm working on sizing a suitable clutch master cylinder to give sufficient clutch disengagement without giving too heavy a pedal pressure.

Dick has the TR6 engine in numerous pieces for a planned rebore / new pistons / rings etc.

So we don't know what we'll be driving to LM in.

The clock is ticking  Undecided

Good work Steve!  Cool About time the Snake found her way south again.

Dave, you should realise that complacency is your enemy; need I say more?  Evil

The '73 GT6 convertable - Sixfire - cannot be worked on in my garage as not enough space to walk around it or lift the bonnet properly. So it's parked on the drive awaiting the afternoon sun and no frigging wind with a chill in it.

General engine service needed and replacement of all hoses.

New alternater fitted and radio removed so that new guages can be connected - Amps, Volts and Oil pressure, so dash is in pieces!!!

Trunnions need oiling and there is 'clicking from the rear. So I gues at least one drive shaft UJ is on the way out. Due to my back problems, I think I'll get local garage to replace drive shafts and do the oiling.

Then there is the rear brakes and cable adjustment.

It will be at LM this year unless something serious happens -temping fate here

New engine for the Frogeye is being built but it won't be finished in time for Marham and won't be run in in time for Le mans, but post Le Mans it will be installed, run in and then thrashed (in time for next year).
