Thats just great Chris.I have never met your friend and he already thinks I am a prick! I never said he was not a proper race fan at all. I just dont understand why anyone go to races and not drink and then sleep on the ground. I am looking forward to meeting your friend, sounds like we have attended alot of the same races. it just needs some cool beers to smoothen the conversation! me thirsty

Look at the bright side. Now you know who gets to make the Saturday morning beer and ice run.
For clarifications sake, Is there a difference between sleeping and passing out "on the ground".

You will have seen him, he's been past Turn 10 with me for the past several years, but despite even an invite from The Gov, he's been too shy to make himself at home at Turn 10 and waits for me by the fence.
I also too shy to register and post on here but does read the forum.
You will get on just fine.
Regards Chris

Hi Wadespeed, Similar with the same ending In both cases you wake up on the ground refreshed and covered in dew. Phil

Hey guys, I won't be able to make it this year. I had too much fun at Sebring, Lime Rock ALMS and then the Vintage Festival at Lime Rock. Well I know it will be a great race and you'll all have too much fun and not remember it. Well at least I can watch on SpeedTV. Oh wait, what with this NASCAR crap breaking the coverage up! You have to be kidding me!!!! Well I guess I'll spend the weekend painting NASCAR in the biggest F*&kin letters on their building so it says NASCARTV I hope you guys post a lot of photos for us to enjoy! Sew on and sew on.... The Mrs. & I will be there bright and early Saturday morning, after thundering up from Augusta. Guys, pack some wet weather gear, last time I checked there's a 30% chance of scattered showers, with temps in the low eighties during the day, low sixties at night. Fax

Greetings from Berlin.
Sorry I can't make it Fax. Looking forward to meeting your better half sooner than later. Watch out for Johnny Filth once you hook-up with I75 north of ATL. You know what those buggers are like every year on Friday. I've shed some brake dust over the years coming over some of those crests and seeing them lurking underneath overpasses lasering everyone's ass.
Funny to think that this time last year Rich and I were packing up the car ready for the drive. And now I'm sitting here in Sausageville.
Have a blast!

Hi Dave, Sorry you can't make it, it'll be my first Petit without you. We'll knock back a few cold one's for ya, the really scary part is that Kirsten can throw them back as hard as we can. No worries about getting nicked by Buford T. Justice, we're taking her little Honda (to save a few bucks on the petrol) and I don't think it will go fast enough to attract unwanted attention. Fax

Myself and 'The Boy' (my son-in-law - and cooler-dragger/beer server Seth) will be honking up I-75 after I finish work today. We'll head straight to the track and doss in my land yacht. In fact I need to send the boy out this morning to clear my local supermarket shelves of Nigerian Lager to sustain us over the course of Saturday. Have a safe flight home Dave, sorry you won't be there. Fax - long time no party, so really looking forward to seeing you again and meeting 'er indoors.
