Knowing some of you like to change your screensaver from time to time, here are a few of the 500 shots I took yesterday. I haven't had the time(or inclination frankly) to modify them much with Paint Shop so take them as you find them. Hope you enjoy them none the less.

These are but a quick selection of the 500 odd shots taken of which naturally 40% were binned on the spot! I'll post more when I can. Incidentally, it is p***ing down once again.

Yes, we had a trial shirt last week in and the 500 are ordered. He's doing the same thing for the classic too.

Nikon D2X with 200/400 f4 lens and TC14E which turns the lens into a 280/560mm f5.6 lens. I am so close to the cars there that I have to take the shots some way away. The real close ups are taken either just at the entry to the Mulsanne bend (I am on the armco inside) or at the entry to the golf club on their way to Arnage. Incidentally, you need weight training to carry the gear! I tend to just keep my finger on the trigger as they come towards me and take 7 shots a second and sort it all out later at home. I carry usually two 8MB cards for the day which equates to 3,000 photos which the one battery can easily cope with. In fact, I've never run out of battery on a day's shoot. Shortly though, the D3! If you like close ups, here are a couple from last year:-

Wow, you do that all on 2 8 MB cards?

Stunning pictures anyway!

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?
