Hello all............    This is the sequel to my topic in the Help! forum    Smiley

I'm back at home in Calgary now and finally starting to catch up on stuff.  But I wanted to drop a note onto the forum.

I especially want to thank Piglet and KeithK for their hospitality, kindness and generousity !!!   Wow, you made my first LeMans a great experience !!

It was also great actually meeting a lot of you...  Always fun putting faces and names to avitars !

Termie...  Thx for the loan of the tent !

Give me a few days and I'll add a longer 'trip report' here about my experience, what I learnt and any tips/hints for some future traveller who finds this...   hee hee

Hi Trevor

Good to see you got back safely, I'm glad we were able to help you get to LM after all the years of wanting to be there.  You were both great company and helped out hugely especially as neither KK or I were around as much as we'd intended to be.  So thank you very much for the BBQ'ing & coffee making etc!

The weather really did take the edge of the year though so I think you'll have to come back again to see it in the sunshine  Grin

Trevor,

Glad you got back safely from the inaugural visit and that the forum helped get you there and to enjoy yourself when there.  Make it an annual venture!

I hope the tent didn't leak!  Did I meet you?  The bits of the week when I wasn't watching the cars is a bit of a drunken blur...  Hic.
Great to know you had a good time.
