Come on boys, lets do a little better this time.

I'm watching (no, reading) the test on the web, with a 30 second refresh!
No SkyTV here, you know.

So far, we are 9-0; so that's good I guess!

What an unbelievable and pathetic capitulation.  I know things sometimes do not go to plan but come on...  How on earth did such a promising early position turn into a thumping 6 wicket defeat?

It is a cricketing disgrace.  Beginning to think England Rugby Union is not in such a bad state after all...  Angry

I consider myself very lucky when it comes to Cricket and Rugby, I couldn't give a toss about either sport. Which is just as well as I am living in a state of football induced depression pretty much on an ongoing basis. I am desperately sorry however for those that do care. Particularly in light of the truly pathetic performance of the England team over night. Cry

I agree with Oldtimer, it's a cricketing disgrace. How on earth do you blow away a safety margin like that? Stupid shot selection, no concentration or application. Absolutely bloody brainless, the lot of them.  Angry Angry Angry

It's the British Trade Union Cricket rules that they are playing to.

I hope our American friends are following all this.
But I have to agree.
I went to bed expecting a draw and woke up and it had all finished. Roll Eyes

Yep. We're getting gubbed.

Serves SKY right. All that apocalyptic tosh on their adverts was just asking for trouble.

Still, there's always the rugby... oh, hang on

Thankfully, my Australian brother in law isn't remotely concerned about sport, so at least I can still ring him up ant tell him we've won. And he'll believe me, - that's how not remotely concerned about sport he is.

Hi Garyfrogeye,
WTF is a wicket?  Sounds bad from the tone of the conversation Sad
Oh well, the Bengals are in good shape to make the playoffs after a shitty mid-season slump.
Yep, makes about as much sense to you guys as 2nd test does to us.

It is that you mention cricket now rick, otherwise I wouldn't even know what it was about.

I'll get myself another Grolsch Kanon to celebrate that I finally found out. Grin
