I saw an official programme "with full DVD of last year's race" for somewhere around £15 on eBay...

I assume that was the 'Vaillant' promo DVD they were giving away with the programme?

I noticed that a Houx camp site pass had a highest bidder of £288.00 on e-bay the week before the race.  The starting price was £60.  Profiteering, greed or a mad panic to get hold of a pass???  I wonder if the high bidder ever paid for it?  Huh

I removed a similar post referring to auction prices before the race to prevent an unwanted discussion.

My view is that we should accept that some people will make a buck or ten out of LM one way or another, it happens year after year, there is nothing we can do about it however hard we discuss it.

I think it's best left there.

Sorry!

Oh, and yes - the DVD was the Making of the movie etc, not the real thing...I think a few of us were conned by that too. Maybe a rudimentary knowledge of French would have helped, but I think even Gilles thought he had his mitts on the real thing.
