Ok, following on from Liverpool's recent sucess.

I am not particualrly interested in football ( Wrong shape ball), but I am particualry proud of my home city.

So with that in mind I would like to wish Preston North End all the best for this weekends Play Off Final to get into the Premiership next season.

Just imagine the local derby matches we could have then, with Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton all within 20 minutes away.

"The premiership is the greatest club league in the world, attracting the top players from all continents! We have Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd, Everton, Liverpool................Wigan and Prestin North End"

As a Londoner, and Spurs Fan  Angry, I'd like to wish Preston North End all the best too, because I don't want to see West Ham back in the Premiership! Dodgy dealings to take Alan Pardew off of Reading and The Inter City Firm hyaving no interest in Football other than to travel the country trying to get in as many fights as possible don't do a lot for the game IMHO.

On another note, it's quite nice to see teams like Wigan and PNE work their way up through the ranks. You never know, they could be the next Wimbledon!!

Sorry Rob & Jpc But Tottenham have about as much chance of winning the Premier League as Leeds United (now where is that Ridsdale fellow). However we do have the possibility of being sold to another Russian by Mr Bates (or is that Master). Wimbledon? for Milton keynes read Wigan for Peterlee.

I think that West Ham were the better team in that particular match and with premiership experience behind them will probably have a better chance than most at staying up. However out of the two NW sides I think that Preston NE would have had a much better chance of survival than promoted Wigan who, whilst having a rich owner, do not seem to have the depth of support that Preston have. Wigan without the funding is like a Barnsley or Oldham who have both been elevated but rapidly slid back again.
