Street lamps usually have a 220v supply however have to be connected LIVE so make sure you know what you are doing.

There are a couple of power outlets along the edge of the site by the toilets near to the 'entrance' to the circuit.

This are primarily for the toilets / showers but get hijacked by happy campers.

It's fair to say that there is NO power on HA.

One other thought you may wish to bear in mind, is that Houx proper does have electrical hookups. This would leave the possibility of anybody camping down the side of Houx Annexe which is adjacent to Houx to run an electrical extension lead over the road and wall and plug into a Houx outlet.

I appreciate that this may sound initially to be quite hard, but on reflection you would only need about 50 meters of extension lead (good quality outdoor type), a French style camping plug adapter, a cutout protecter and some method of raising the cable above the road for safety. If you ran it straight over the road, I would think you would need quite a lot of protection on it.

Looking at some of your posted pictures Mr Steve Brown, it looks as though you camp in the area I suggested, so would be able to give this a go.

True Mr I, we do....... and we've also considered this.  Also right next to us is a lighting pole but I've not got up the nerve to carry out a live connection yet  Shocked
