Not LM related, but, it was raced in the "Le Mans Motorsport Auto Italia" champsionships a season or two ago....  Grin

Its had the front made good already and is in the spray shop.

Couldnt have Wishy with the only track Alfa.  Cool

Looks like it is in better nick than Wishy's as it is  Cheesy

What are your plans - just track days or perhaps a bit of hillclimbing?

Nice one Rick, the Xi is a pretty beast!  "if it goes as well as it looks...."

Preztel - you've seen the GTV then?  Hoping to get a test at Haynes within a month, and maybe a trip to Llandow to the test track there (thats your neck of the woods I think).  Want to do some Hill Climbs and Sprints, and would love to have the budget to have a go at the Alfa series that its eligable for, or Euro Saloons.  Doubt I can get that together tho.

Im afraid its real and he has just bought a Lotus 30 with a Ford V8 in the back.
Its right here in Newport.He has about 12 Lotii in total

Yes, I have seen the GTV. I think the phrase 'would suit enthusiast' is appropriate, although I'm sure Wishy would disagree. Still, rose tinted spectacles and all that.

Llandow is indeed fairly close to us. Let me know if you go. From what I understand it's not tooo bad a track, often in use for kart racing.

Will indeed give you a shout, have just booked 8 days for the Dreamracers track days for 2005, so will mix it in with them!
