Wasnt the DC crash around the time of the Frankie Detorri crash? Rumours of betting syndicates involved? I'm sure DC has never had anything to do with the championship or be high enough up in the pecking order to even get on the radar screen of betting syndicates, unless they were looking at the number of retirements he has in one season  |

Ok not a driver but motorsport related all the same.
Paul Morgan, (Ilmor Engines) who died when he crashed his Hawker Sea Fury.
If you ever saw the pictures then he was damn unlucky as it flipped over on landing with very little damage apart from crushing the canopy where he was sat !
