I would have said I can leave it another hour before I have to get to track but I doubt that will change as it will just get more busy lol

Wonder what effect that will have on those doing the dash to the Ferry on Sunday afternoon...

I also thought this as it will delay everyone.

I think it changed to 3pm to clash with the football. Grin

It was moved to 3pm originally for the elections.  You could watch the start, and after a couple of hours, go and vote.  No it doesn't make sense to me either

I thought it changed officially to allow race goers an earlier get away, and unofficially to avoid a clash with football.  Not sure why it has changed back.  Is there football in June?

Being a participant in the dash to the port it is slightly irritating. Last year we were booked on the 21.55 ferry but got to Calais in time to catch the earlier one.  The 21.55 should be catchable leaving the circuit just after race end though.

Aren't there major roadworks (underpass) to the north of Le Mans?

If so, then head west or south to pick up the motorway.

All I can find on roadworks, is that the Rouen by-pass has been delayed, yet again.

Guess we will find out about roadworks on the way down, and adjust the return route accordingly.
