There was no Dunlop chicane until 1987 if memory serves. The brow was there of course and the sweeping right hand curve.

I always thought the curve was known as the Dunlop curve prior to the chicane being installed?

Either way, heading towards the curve with a pair of pram wheels to steer you would have got your attention.
