Hi guys
we're about to book our tickets for the classic and I think we have the option at the mo of either MB or karting nord, we've stayed MB in 2006 & 2008 and it was ok and a few m8's have stayed karting nord and recon it's nicer than MB, which would you lot recommend.
also some of us are going to be leaving on Sunday around 12 noon before the race ends and I was wondering if being on Karting nord (infield) was going to cause a prob for us getting out while the race was on.
cheers

Shouldn't be a problem leaving at that time, if you head out through Arnage village, turn right out of site, right at T junction, under the track, straight ahead at roundabout. We left MB about 3 once, and got out very quickly.
As far as which site is best, I think they are very similar.
MB probably easier if you are using the grandstands

cheers Barry
I was under the misguided notion that KN was sealed inside the track and cut off during the race but just been naggin with a m8 and he's pointed out that there's a tunnel and the track goes over it so getting out of KN isn't a prob as you said. He also said that they're much the same and the only thing he missed when he stayed at KN was the nice raised embankment you get to stand/sit on to watch the race in MB
