Peugeot has announced its drivers for this year's 24 hours:

N°7 : Alexander Wurz / Anthony Davidson / Marc Gené
N°8 : Franck Montagny / Nicolas Minassian / Stéphane Sarrazin
N°9 : Sébastien Bourdais / Pedro Lamy / Simon Pagenaud

No change there then.

Nope!

No 7  Davidson will crash it
No 9  Bourdais will break it
No 8 will be the quickest and have all the unlucky mechanical problems, if it is lucky and the turbos don't go bang, then No 8 to win

Bit harsh there Bazzer

Nothing wrong with a good French team, without them what would you have, an Audi massacre!

Allez les Bleus...

Will there be a 'private' entry as well?

Gave my travelling companions a briefing (I nearly said toolbox talk but whoever thought of that phrase wants throttling) and a bag of Monster Munch (beef flavour) has been added to our 2011 planning list in section 2.1.b - "Savoury snacks". One member has been given special responsibility for the procurement of a small cushion, fabric: velvet, colour: purple for the presentation of aforementioned bagged snack.
Work is in progress Andy.

On the contary, predicting a Peugoet win.

IMHO Montagny/Minnassian/Sarrazin is the quickest driver line up on the grid, if they have a good run.

http://speedhunters.com/archive/2011/02/03/new-cars-gt-gt-2011-peugeot-908-lmp1.aspx

It looks very similliar to last years car, but is all new.

Plenty of vents to allow all sorts of entry, rear, forward and even side.

Would you be allowed to import beef monster munch into France? what with mad zarse and all that.

You'd have thought that Pug has released some sort of brand-new super car based upon the amount of coverage the ACO has given the 908 via the social media.

FFS it's a mild re-working of last years failed car!  It has some new aero mods to meet the 2011 regs and it has a V8 in place of a V12.  But it's still a feckin' diesel!!!

It's boring, boring, boring∞ [repeat until you fall asleep].

I hope they all explode in various mechanical [non life-threatening] ways and then we get a proper battle between the Audi batmobiles and the new Aston Martins.

I'll probably be wrong.
