Thanks for the review Andy, about what I expected.  The Ring is after all the THE yardstick by which all other circuits are measured.
Regarding similarities to Brands, thats another circuit I would love to see a race at someday, especially on the full GP layout.  Over the years I've overheard alot of Brits remark how much Mid-Ohio reminds them of Brands Hatch, so that's how I sort of picture it.  Very wooded and park-like, lots of elevation changes.

Yes  Roll Eyes  That was the ONLY downside of camping at the Ring - bloody Europop booming out from all angles at all times of the day.  We drowned it out with AC/DC and black smoke.

Yes the constant techno-umpah was the only downside. That and the nice person who did someting unmentionable to Brad's car during the night.  Shocked

Wednesdaynight '90's revival party, which usually starts of with some rock, but quickly blends into eurodance, happy hardcore and gabber house.  Grin You're just lucky this year I won't bring the big PA due to the economy....
