Am happy to do the 'detail' part for Arnage as plan to be there from gate opening until sometime on Sunday.
i'll do arnage as well, will be visiting it quite a bit this year, try and get some better aerial shots to of Arnarge and Mulsanne campsites.
Not trying to outbid you Ferrari Spyder - my photography is useless. But should be able to count taps etc.

perfect, so I suggest the following:

Dukla: Information Ferrari Spyder: Pictures

If no-one else desperately wants to do Bleu Sud I can easily do that as well, since I will pass it several times a day and access issues etc will be much the same as Bleu Nord.

Sud was my regular patch for a few years before I got bumped to Nord so I am pretty familiar with it -  Smiley

If you're still looking for volunteers, I'll do Tertre Rouge - it'll be nice to be able to help out and give something back after getting so much useful info from this forum and the previous CA guides to LM.

I'm happy to do Beausejour.

We've been on there for the last 4 years so we've seen some changes in that time.

As with RobP, I'm pleased to be able help out and give something back.

As we are so close we could take a look at Pincinardiere and Dairon too assuming that we can gain access.

If you can't get volunteers who are on the sites let me know.

That would be great, I havent't heard of CA members who are staying there yet.

Cheers

Hi there,

at the moment I'm compiling the campsite chapter for this year and beleave me, with all the changes that have happened it's not an easy job. There are 2 new camspites I know nothing about, old ones have changed significantly (e.g. MB and HA) and with the numbered pitches things are changing somewhat anyway - in other words, I'll do my best but I feel that the camspite chapter will probably not be 100 % accurate this year.

To improve this I would like to try a new concept of having a "CA Guide Campsite Reporter" for each campsite. While visiting the race in 3 weeks this person should:

- check the general description in the CA Guide - is it still accurate?
- take 4-5 pictures: some wide-angle shots which show the landscape/terrain of that campsite, e.g. from the roof of a campervan or so, a picture of the gate, a picture of the facilities, e.g. toilet blocks and shower block.
- describe in brief the facilities - sanitation, campsite caffee available..
- Check for water taps -  How many are there, how far are they away from each other and can water hoses be attached to the taps?
- Check for electrical hook-up - if any - which adapters are needed?
- Report in brief about the safety situation - did you hear of someone who got nicked on the weekend? Did you see pikeys?
- Access to the campsite - At what times is it easy - or especially difficult - to get in & out by car?
- Anything else you consider worth mentioning

It's not a big job, if someone spends about 30 mins on it I think that would be enough. I hope to be able to cover all 18 official campsites and will do the Expo campsite by myself, I'm staying there. Any volunteers should post here so double work will be avoided:

Update 26th May, 10:00 pm - we still need Campsite reporters for the following 4 campsites:

Houx - ?
Interieur Musee - ?
La Chapelle - ?
Mulsanne - ?

The other sites are will be covered by:

Arnage - dukla, Ferrari Spyder
Beausejour - 6euros
Bleu Nord - Fran
Bleu Sud - Fran
Dairon - 6euros
Expo - Werner
Houx Annexe Nord - Ferrari Spyder
Houx Annexe Sud - Ferrari Spyder
Hunaudieres - Bas
Karting Nord - JDS
Maison Blanche - jpchenet
Pincenardiere - 6euros
Technoparc - Rhino
Tertre Rouge - RobP

Cheers
