Tell me what detail in the first 2 minutes of "Le Mans" indicates you're in Summer 1970 so after the 70' race?

It was the only race where the cars started in the 'ear of corn' formation, but the drivers didn't run to the cars.
They were already strapped in for the start.

1969: run across the track
1971: first rolling start.

If it's the film then it could be the sign on the Citroen garage advertising the 1971 new models, which presumably came out after June.
If it's not that, then is it the flower seller selling flowers which bloom later in the year?

Le Mans - the how you get there is not quite as important as being there.

Good answer, until late 90's in France year's models were issued in late summer of the year before, so '71 were issued in september '70.

Did you remembered the film or did you watch it again?

Otherwise he had the good sticker on the windscreen

I cheated, and stuck the DVD on.
I did notice that he had a 1970 sticker on the Porsche.

By the way Gilles well done on your spelling, I can't spell anachronism, and english is my first language. Smiley
