I assume that paddock tickets and the weekend passes are available on the gate?

According to this page http://www.lemansclassic.com/2008/uk/infosPartiques_billetterie.html paddock passes are only available when pre-booked.

We got our allocation through yesterday as well,  ACO Stand (which includes paddock) plus GA tickets, plus ACO parking in Blanc.  Didn't need any camping as we have a rolling reservation for both 24hrs and Classic at a local hotel.

Of course I buy green cars, my Aston is green, my MGB is green, my Disco Sport is green,  oh, that's not what you meant by green?

No worries.

I will PM you details over the weekend.

Are the paddock passes worth the money?

In a word, DEFINATELY.

(Think Goodwood FoS paddock x 1000 - with easier access)

Is there a dress code to get into the paddock or is it a bit more relaxed than Goodwood?

We'll be staying out at Alencon in a very pleasant Auberge for the classic. No organising for me at this event, hooray,  Simon looks after everything so I'm coming down on the bike  Cheesy

Paddocks are definately worth it, no need grow a comedy 'tache or to dust off the demob suit and trilby either.

It would also appear that if you are an ACO member then you get free entrance to the paddocks, unless I can be proved wrong there.
