We have one coming from New Zealand, although he is not driving. He is looking forward to going on a ferry though!!

As I'm a bit slow getting to all posts I've only now got to this one and as an ex Scimitar owner I must say that yours sounds ace!! Mine was an SE5A and a real 3ltr , not a 2.8 that used the Cologne engine. The Essex engine was always better as standard, but the trunnions were a nightmare so bad that the good mod was to fit grease nipples to them! Had lots of fun in that RWD and lots of power!!

Thanks for the photo Dave. I had a 71 +S130 in white, sold it back in 74 Last saw it drive onto MB a few years age.now owned by a chap in Barnsley I think

As I'm a bit slow getting to all posts I've only now got to this one and as an ex Scimitar owner I must say that yours sounds ace!! There was a trick with the trunnions, Never Grease them, alway use EP90 oil. The grease gells and ruins the trunnions.

Probably why they didn't last too long then !!!
