Dear all,

Got back yesterday safe and sound after another outstanding year of motorsport, petrolheads, beer and sun.   MGA ran faultlessly through the week - even managed the drivers parade this year without overheating.   Highlights and thanks:

1 - The Brethren - thanks guys for a fantastic Friday party and lesson taught to the noisy french campers on the Saturday morning.
2 - The Silk Cut Cortina being replaced by the Silk Cut Volvo, complete with inflatable passengers, and the Gulf Racing caravan.
3 - Arnage village throughout the week
4 - Drivers parade - thanks for the encouragement (including liquid refreshment)  from those of you that were on the route.

Oh there was a race too and that was great - brain tired, so thanks to all,

Mark Grin

'twas good to meet you Mark. Glad you enjoyed yourself.
We still have spots in front of our eyes from Firestarter's final salvo that sent a vast fireball and mushroom cloud over the campsite on Saturday evening followed by a rain of fallout that covered absolutely everything. Scared the f**k*ng crap out of some of our neighbouring campers that were asleep in there tents as they were lit up with what must have been about 1 billion candle power. Don said he thought he had gone blind.
Until next year mate.
All the best

Rusty - certainly did - the t-shirt worn on the Friday night bears the hallmarks of the fallout.   Got a few photos of the night, which I'll forward on in the next couple of days via The Brethren website.   all the best,
