Have you seen who's whoring themselves selling vans for Fiat? How on earth can this be relevant to anything other than the heating bill for his castle?

Fran,

Spot on - the Ferrari company has been owned by Fiat since 1969, so I guess he is still on the payroll....

The van add, and the mini bus thing (with the camp heading of the football)......how cheesy.

Surely the mighty Schumacher would have seen this in his contract and sought to get an opt out clause.

Or maybe his desire to be number one got in the way......

But, then again, he does do some rather sad magazine adds on the continent also.

I think they all look pretty good actually. Let’s face it he is good deal more natural in front of the camera than Mr Button. All in a days work. Wink

You seem to have missed the numerous ads he did for Loreal.  To be fair I'm not sure if they ever aired in the UK.  I saw one whilst on holiday in Hungary way back in 1999.

Ohhh yessss....aired for a very short space of time IIRC - dreadful cheesy adverts that I think were pulled in the UK pretty swiftly! Grin

I don't mind the Fiat ones and lets face it if someone wants to pay him vast amounts of money for a days work good on him.

And therefore Fiat has to appear on the nose of all Ferrari F1 cars as the manufacturers name...
